Requirements
- Proven experience owning production-grade web applications end-to-end.
- Capability to own features from database schema to UI without handoffs.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to ask 'why' before 'how'.
- Data-driven and hypothesis-led approach to development.
- Experience partnering with non-engineering stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Cypress, and Jest.
- Knowledge of infrastructure tools including Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, AWS, and Datadog.
- Fluent communication in English.
- Based in Italy or Spain.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve technical foundations that support customer acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Improve how search engines and users understand the marketplace.
- Instrument work and support testing frameworks to validate ideas with data.
- Ship user-facing improvements to landing pages, discovery journeys, and conversion flows.
- Own services end-to-end with a DevOps mindset, from architecture through deployment.
- Translate growth and marketing opportunities into clear engineering work and challenge scope as needed.
