Requirements
- 4+ years of data engineering experience designing and operating production ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Fluency in Python and SQL, with depth in data modeling in a warehouse or data lake.
- Hands-on experience with orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow or dbt.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses.
- Experience integrating data from external third-party sources, APIs, and flat file feeds.
- Ability to manage schema changes, unreliable delivery, and inconsistent quality from upstream sources.
- Experience working with large, messy, inconsistently structured data.
- Proven ability to perform independent testing, monitoring, and debugging of pipelines.
- Strong communication skills for explaining data models and tradeoffs to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate ingestion and transformation pipelines for labor market, customer, and product data.
- Own the structure, testing, and documentation of core data, including skills, occupation, and career taxonomies.
- Build transformation layers and datasets to power internal analytics and customer reporting.
- Maintain pipelines that feed matching and recommendation models.
- Partner with Engineering and Data Scientists to deploy, monitor, and improve models in production.
