Requirements
- Significant experience leading software engineering or product teams in technical organizations.
- Strong track record managing technical teams and managers.
- Demonstrated operational excellence in planning and predictable execution.
- Experience designing or improving team processes and cross-functional operating models.
- Strong technical judgment to evaluate architecture, execution risk, and quality.
- Strong product sense for partnering on roadmaps, sequencing, and trade-offs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Experience working across distributed teams.
- Experience building teams in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Experience in fintech, fraud, credit risk, AML, or compliance is a strong plus.
- Prior founder or startup experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior on-the-ground leader for Oscilar in India.
- Lead managers and senior individual contributors across backend engineering, analytics, integrations, and product teams.
- Implement and refine scalable workflows across planning, execution, and incident management.
- Partner with product and executive leadership to align technical roadmaps with business goals.
- Establish operating rhythms to improve collaboration across time zones and increase engineering effectiveness.
- Hire, coach, and retain high-caliber talent while developing local leadership.
- Raise the bar on technical judgment, design quality, and service ownership.
