Requirements
- Experience with real-time communication systems, including VoIP, SIP, RTP, or WebRTC.
- Experience working with audio and/or video processing pipelines, codecs, or streaming technologies.
- Experience building and operating micro-services and REST/gRPC APIs.
- Familiarity with observability tooling (metrics, logging, tracing) and debugging distributed systems.
- Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CDK.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience managing applications in Kubernetes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software systems that ingest and process real-time and recorded audio/video streams.
- Build and evolve scalable media pipelines that are reliable, performant, and optimized for low-latency processing.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the development team, including code reviews and architectural decision-making.
- Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems supporting high-throughput media ingestion.
- Analyze and solve complex technical problems, advocating for improvements and software best practices.
- Ensure all developed software adheres to rigorous security standards and compliance requirements.
