Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering and software architecture shipping production-level code.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Pyspark, or similar languages.
  • Experience building and scaling reusable, testable, and maintainable data pipelines.
  • Experience designing and optimizing data models, warehouses, and/or lakehouses.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems (e.g., Palantir Foundry, DBT, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Track record of ensuring data quality, governance, and reliability.
  • Ability to balance high-level architecture with tactical execution.
  • Proven ability to translate business challenges into actionable engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and maintain our data model, data pipelines, and data access layer that support our care delivery, operations, and analytics.
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data pipelines that enable key business operations, support third-party integrations, and ensure timely, accurate data delivery.
  • Implement practices that make our data trustworthy and usable for all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and optimize data infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and drive efficiency through automation.
  • Review code and set engineering best practices as a technical leader.
  • Design infrastructure for future needs, including AI and advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with product managers, analytics, operations, and care delivery stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
