Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or a relevant field.
- Active LCSW license in good standing.
- Must hold active licenses in at least 3-4 different states from the approved list.
- 3+ years of relevant experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and relaxation strategies.
- Competence in using administrative technologies such as Zoom, Slack, Office, and Google Drive.
- Experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms.
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other care providers like nurse practitioners and registered dietitians.
- Genuine passion for improving patient lives and digestive health care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of MDs, dietitians, and nurse practitioners to provide comprehensive, integrated member care.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and gut-directed hypnotherapy.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments to design personalized, goal-oriented care plans for GI conditions.
- Initiate and maintain health records in the electronic health record system per clinical protocols.
- Participate in clinical coordination meetings and contribute to the development of psychological best practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional training to maintain licensure and advance clinical knowledge.
