Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience creating dynamic documents using OpenText Communications.
  • Strong understanding of document composition principles, including templates, formatting, variables, data mapping, and document structures.
  • Experience working with logical coding concepts and rule-based content generation.
  • Knowledge of driver file mapping and variable mapping for document creation and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze defects, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Smart Communications, CMS Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and Agile methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Compose and configure operational and regulatory communications using approved templates, content standards, and designated platforms.
  • Develop and deploy personalized, dynamic communications using OpenText Communications (Thin Client).
  • Execute communications across multiple channels, including print and digital formats, while maintaining quality, compliance, and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with strategy teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective document templates.
  • Manage document composition elements including layouts, style sheets, variables, repeating data tables, and document flow.
  • Apply logical coding concepts such as conditional statements, loops, and data-driven content rules.
  • Perform unit testing, troubleshoot implementation challenges, and conduct defect analysis.
  • Maintain documentation, version control, and audit trails for communication builds.
