Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (specifically Redshift or similar MPP warehouses).
- Solid experience with Python and PySpark.
- Hands-on experience with the AWS data stack including S3, Glue, Redshift, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, including authoring and deploying DAGs.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and warehousing fundamentals.
- BI dashboarding experience using tools like QuickSight, ThoughtSpot, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar product data models quickly and work independently.
- Strong collaboration skills for working across product, engineering, and support teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage dashboard changes end to end in QuickSight and ThoughtSpot, including new metrics, filters, and refresh management.
- Build and maintain batch and streaming ETL pipelines on AWS using Glue, S3, Redshift, and Airflow DAGs.
- Write and optimize Redshift SQL to improve query performance and resolve data mismatches.
- Support near-real-time ingestion workflows using Kafka/MSK CDC and Glue Streaming.
- Investigate customer-reported analytics discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis.
- Monitor pipeline health using CloudWatch metrics and alarms and participate in incident triage.
- Develop deep product knowledge to translate changes into updated data models and dashboards.
