Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in SaaS or product engineering environments, including ownership of production services.
- Solid understanding of application scalability, performance, and data correctness under load.
- Hands-on experience with modern Angular (2+ with TypeScript).
- Hands-on experience with Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript services for event-driven applications.
- Experience with both relational (MySQL or Postgres) and NoSQL datastores (DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Redis).
- Strong experience with event-driven and microservice-based architectures and integration patterns (RESTful APIs, message queues, pub/sub).
- Hands-on experience designing and operating workloads on AWS (ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, etc.).
- Strong foundation in production-grade engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues using metrics, logs, and traces.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools.
Responsibilities
- Own sizable, ambiguous features and integrations end to end, breaking complex problems into clear, workable pieces.
- Build and maintain FMS integrations and data synchronization, keeping leads, tenants, units, and reservations in sync through event-driven, API-based patterns.
- Share ownership of the live system, including on-call duties, incident response, and ensuring issue resolution.
- Improve the scalability, reliability, and data correctness of high-throughput workflows through evidence-based decisions.
- Break complex initiatives into incremental milestones and drive them from design through implementation and rollout.
- Design and operate AWS application infrastructure (ECS Fargate, Lambda, etc.) with a focus on scalability and resilience.
- Mentor engineers, write technical design documents, and conduct constructive code reviews.
