Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proven track record building and shipping production systems.
- Experience at a senior or staff level owning ambitious projects.
- Deep familiarity with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Familiarity with LLM observability tools like LangFuse.
- Experience working with LLM APIs and AI evaluation tooling.
- Strong technical background with an AI/ML foundation.
- Full-stack comfort covering logic, infrastructure, and frontend prototyping.
- Ability to methodically tackle technical challenges like latency and model hallucinations.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and continuous evolution of the Joko AI agentic system.
- Design and run robust evaluation frameworks to measure performance and catch regressions.
- Expand AI capabilities by integrating tools like web search, vector search, and catalog lookups.
- Manage the ingestion, standardization, and enrichment of massive product catalogs.
- Leverage user behavior and transaction data to build a highly personalized shopping experience.
- Prototype new features and iterate quickly based on real user feedback.
- Fine-tune models for quality, latency, and cost-efficiency in a production environment.
- Collaborate with the Product team to define and ship innovative AI-assisted shopping experiences.
