Requirements
- Must resonate with the mission and values of the Mercari Group.
- Proficient level of Japanese (CEFR C1).
- Current student expected to graduate and join as a full-time employee in October 2027 or April 2028.
- Interest in leadership, organizational development, and culture building within the Mercari Group.
- Experience achieving results in projects using AI technology or modern analytical tools.
- Strong logical thinking skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Fundamental knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
- Experience with SQL or the ability to acquire fundamental operations before the selection process begins.
- Willingness to take on challenges in unknown areas and adapt to changes.
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week (3 days/week) for at least 2 months (weekdays only).
Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale user behavior and transaction data to provide actionable business insights.
- Support decision-making for product and business growth through data-driven analysis.
- Propose improvements for the Mercari marketplace application based on data findings.
- Maximize marketing effectiveness through analytical performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with various departments, including product, marketing, logistics, and CRM, to solve complex business issues.
