Requirements
- Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go, Python, C, C++, Rust or similar).
- Proven experience delivering projects from gathering requirements through to shipping.
- Experience developing software that runs in the Cloud or experience in systems engineering.
- Ability to write clean, robust, and performant software.
- Experience working with Kubernetes and/or Docker (bonus).
- Experience using Grafana and Prometheus in operational or on-call roles (bonus).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems (bonus).
- Familiarity with SRE tasks or Infrastructure as Code (bonus).
Responsibilities
- Influence the product roadmap and set career objectives.
- Deliver new features and iterate based on performance results.
- Drive projects from initial ideation through to production operations.
- Contribute to open-source projects beyond the immediate team's scope.
- Design, build, operate, and maintain critical distributed systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of service reliability.
- Collaborate with team members through design discussions and code reviews.
- Develop a deep understanding of the cloud product and codebase.
