Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD).
- Credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current licensure to practice in Tennessee.
- Demonstrated experience in medical nutrition therapy for perinatal and postpartum individuals managing diabetes, hypertension, preeclampsia, inadequate weight gain, or anemia.
- Experience serving families eligible for Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC programs.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Access to reliable home internet.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in EHR and messaging platforms.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized perinatal and postpartum nutrition education via scheduled, virtual visits.
- Facilitate scheduled, virtual group classes for perinatal and postpartum nutrition, equipping mothers with essential knowledge for managing pregnancy and optimizing health outcomes.
- Ensure clear and precise documentation for all care interactions.
- Adhere to our policies and procedures to maintain the highest standard of care for our members.
