Requirements
- 3+ years in product design with shipped SaaS work; startup experience strongly preferred.
- Dual portfolio required: at least one complex product flow and one marketing/brand piece designed end to end.
- Exceptional visual craft: ability to articulate typography, spacing, color, and hierarchy.
- Systems fluency: experience building or maintaining a design system using tokens, components, and proper naming.
- AI-native workflow: demonstrated daily use of AI tools in the design process.
- Obsessive finish: self-QA, micro-alignment, and coverage of edge cases.
- Ownership and accountability: ability to solve blockers and deliver under pressure.
- Responsive design mastery: proficiency across desktop, mobile web, and native platform conventions.
- Expert in Figma and comfortable across modern design and prototyping tools.
Responsibilities
- Own product design end to end: understand the user's job, define the flow, design the UI, spec the edge cases, and see it through engineering to what actually ships.
- Design across both worlds at a high bar: dense enterprise SaaS screens and expressive marketing/brand work.
- Work inside and extend our design system (shadcn-based).
- Concept visuals that argue a point: metaphor-driven graphics, staged product screenshots, and composed sections.
- Mentor one junior designer on creative craft including moodboards, references, critique, and finish.
- Use AI as a core part of your workflow for exploration, asset production, iteration speed, and quality passes.
- Collaborate tightly with engineering, marketing, and customer success; communicate decisions in writing and take critique.
