Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
- Strong production experience with React and Node.js.
- Strong SQL fundamentals and hands-on experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
- Experience with database schema design, migrations, indexes, and query performance.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Heroku, including deployments, environment configuration, logs, and monitoring.
- Proven experience owning and delivering features or products end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively to accelerate development.
- High level of autonomy and ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of internal and external platforms from requirements through production support.
- Transform business requirements, AI-generated prototypes, and concepts into production-ready applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points, gather feedback, and validate product adoption.
- Develop and maintain production applications using React, Node.js, and MySQL.
- Modernize existing platforms by addressing technical debt, outdated dependencies, and recurring bugs.
- Manage deployments and infrastructure across AWS and Heroku with effective CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and maintain scalable integrations between internal systems and third-party services like Slack, Stripe, and HubSpot.
- Leverage AI tools such as Claude for prototyping, code generation, and development workflows.
- Document system architecture, technical decisions, and operational processes.
