Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or DevOps within a SaaS or technology-first environment.
- Strong background in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with containerization and virtualization, specifically Kubernetes, Docker, and VMware.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows and Unix/Linux systems.
- Knowledge of application technology stacks including IIS, NGINX, .NET, PHP, and SQL/MySQL.
- Solid understanding of networking (OSI layers, TCP/IP, VPN).
- Experience with security scanning tools like Snyk, Tenable, or Qualys.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a LAMP modernization project upgrading PHP 5.6 to 8, MariaDB to Galera Cluster, and migrating Virtual Machines to Kubernetes using Helm.
- Design, deploy, and manage performant, scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure for SaaS products.
- Develop and maintain cloud resource provisioning and management processes using Terraform and Ansible.
- Utilize scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python for automation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate IaC practices into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for networks and systems.
