Requirements
- Terminal scientific or clinical degree (Ph.D., M.D., Pharm.D., or D.O.).
- Minimum 5 years of clinical or industry experience, preferably in oncology.
- Deep understanding of the peer-review publication process.
- Advanced understanding of the genetic basis for disease and modern genomic techniques.
- Proficiency in statistical methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex data.
- Strong interpersonal and situational awareness skills to adapt content in real time.
- Ability to work in synergy with cross-functional teams including marketing and sales.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proximity to an airport hub and ability to travel at least 60% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with academic and community physicians to promote understanding of the Prosigna Breast Cancer test.
- Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and stimulate investigator-initiated studies through publication.
- Provide tailored scientific presentations to external HCPs as requested by the sales team.
- Collect real-world evidence supporting the clinical utility of diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with internal departments to implement strategies for product improvement.
- Review literature and create educational materials for stakeholders.
- Serve as a scientific resource for sales and marketing teams including hosting journal clubs.
- Support the managed care team by providing clinical data for insurance coverage applications.
- Provide conference coverage and prepare summaries for leadership.
