Requirements
- Full fluency in both English and Mandarin
- Technology proficient (including but limited to: web based platforms, email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
- Professional interpreting experience (preferred)
- Industry specific certifications/trainings such as CMI or CCHI (preferred)
- Proof of 40+ hour medical interpreting training such as Bridging The Gap or Cross-Cultural (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide effective audio and video remote interpreting
- Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
- Perform basic troubleshooting for technical issues
- Provide superior customer service
- Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
- Complete assigned training(s) and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring
