Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in proposal development, permit/grant writing, content creation, editing, or related professional writing fields.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for public agencies and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into persuasive, accessible content.
- Sharp eye for detail with a commitment to producing error-free work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in content strategy development.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a related field preferred.
- Graphic design experience or familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite/InDesign is a plus.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement, regulations, or urban planning is advantageous.
- Passion for sustainable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and submittal of RFP and permit applications to ensure they are professional and compliant.
- Perform detailed analysis of RFQ/RFP/Permit documents to tailor content to local market contexts.
- Write high-quality, creative, and responsive content for proposal submissions.
- Coordinate and edit input from cross-functional stakeholders including Policy, Product, Finance, Operations, and Engineering.
- Track proposal success rates and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Collaborate with the Design team to integrate high-quality visuals into proposals.
- Analyze industry trends and city policy priorities to enhance proposal messaging.
