Requirements
- 7–10+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner role.
- Deep experience in employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching.
- Experience in high-growth or complex environments.
- Strong business judgment and ability to guide leaders through trade-offs.
- Comfort operating synchronously and asynchronously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of discretion and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Experience managing compensation cycles and organizational change initiatives.
- Understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including performance concerns, investigations, and complex workplace scenarios.
- Coach managers through difficult conversations, feedback delivery, and performance management.
- Partner with the Head of People to translate company strategy into right-sized people practices.
- Support performance management processes, goal-setting, and manager capability building.
- Lead offboarding and separation experiences, including exit interviews and documentation.
- Manage compensation cycles, including merit rounds, promotions, and off-cycle adjustments.
- Build and refine People processes, templates, and manager resources to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including immigration and work authorization coordination.
