Requirements
- Outstanding knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and website architecture.
- Excellent analytical skills with hands-on experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Proven experience optimizing content for AI search (GEO/AEO) including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.
- Strong understanding of structured data (Schema.org), crawling, indexation, and modern web technologies.
- Experience working collaboratively with both engineering and editorial/content teams.
- Comfortable using AI tools and automation to improve SEO workflows and scale content operations.
- Ability to scale organic traffic for a startup preferred.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, etc.) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical SEO lead for a team of seven writers.
- Conduct technical SEO audits covering site architecture, crawling, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema, and internal linking.
- Research, test, and implement new strategies to improve both traditional SEO and AI search visibility (GEO/AEO).
- Perform regular reporting on rankings, AI citations, and CTR with actionable recommendations for re-optimization.
- Build AI-assisted workflows to enhance content production, SEO analysis, and reporting.
