Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master on DOD software development programs.
- Current Agile certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
- Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile software development teams in a Scrum environment.
- Proficiency with Government-approved Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Experience creating automated Agile reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, SDLC, and DevSecOps concepts.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Scrum Master for an Agile software development team supporting customer modernization initiatives.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Release Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Coach the team on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and continuous improvement practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Government Product Owner to refine, prioritize, and maintain the Product Backlog.
- Ensure Product Backlog Items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for sprint execution.
- Remove obstacles that impede team progress and proactively resolve or escalate issues.
- Generate Agile dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using Government-approved Agile management tools.
- Support transparency by communicating sprint progress, risks, dependencies, and blockers to leadership.
