Requirements
- PhD degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Humanities.
- Current or former postdoctoral researcher or professor.
- Deep domain expertise in a chosen academic or professional field.
- Passion for applied AI research.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to collaboration and interdisciplinary work.
- Available for flexible 10–40 hour work weeks.
- Ability to complete a domain-specific assessment task.
Responsibilities
- Design complex, domain-specific problems and datasets to rigorously evaluate AI models.
- Provide expert insights to enhance AI model accuracy, reasoning, and performance.
- Collaborate with Scale’s research team to co-author technical reports and research papers.
- Engage in high-impact projects with partnered AI labs and platforms.
- Participate in an interdisciplinary network of innovators and thought leaders.
