Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years developing marketing content for link building (and/or digital PR-style link acquisition)
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Prior work experience in a remote setting
- Deep familiarity with the US education system and media interests
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to balance speed and quality to meet deadlines
- SEO fluency, including content strategy for authority-building
- Research strength: trend scanning, competitive analysis, prospect/publisher analysis, and source vetting
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally
- Analytical thinking: ability to find, interpret, and frame insights into compelling narratives
- Familiarity with AI tools and other tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Canva
Responsibilities
- Research and plan content that engages target audiences and earns links, mentions, and co-citations from authoritative sources.
- Identify trends, audience interests, and publisher opportunities across education, test prep, and career licensure.
- Develop content strategies that increase brand mentions and position content alongside trusted experts, institutions, and publications.
- Manage the end-to-end content production process, including sourcing SMEs, writers, and reviewers while maintaining quality and deadlines.
- Write and edit articles, reports, resource guides, and other outreach-focused content assets.
- Partner with outreach teams and leverage data insights and AI tools to create newsworthy content that drives publisher engagement and placements.
- Use AI tools daily to accelerate research, trend discovery, ideation, drafting, and QA
