Requirements
- Deep experience in the cloud-native geospatial ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as DuckDB, GeoParquet, STAC, Arrow, Iceberg, or MobilityDB.
- Strong proficiency in SQL at the engine level with knowledge of execution plans.
- Experience shipping LLM-powered features in production.
- Ability to write production code in cloud-native serverless environments (GCP or AWS).
- Active participation in the open-source geospatial community.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Shape how spatial analytics is packaged, versioned, and executed across partner engines.
- Define strategy for cross-platform SQL performance.
- Architect spatial-first solutions for Iceberg and open formats.
- Represent the company in OGC and Cloud Native Geospatial working groups.
- Define interfaces for AI-agentic GIS execution.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, and data teams to shape technical direction.
