Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mortgage production, lending operations, or related mortgage processing activities.
- Strong understanding of TRID requirements and mortgage disclosure regulations.
- Familiarity with state-specific mortgage disclosure requirements and timelines.
- Hands-on experience using Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS).
- Knowledge of mortgage disclosure formats, regulatory documentation, and banking compliance practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital document management tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and distribute mortgage loan disclosure packages in compliance with federal and state regulations and required timelines.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of disclosure documentation throughout the loan process.
- Support mortgage loan originators, processors, and internal teams by answering disclosure-related questions and resolving file issues efficiently.
- Monitor loan files to ensure compliance with regulations including TRID, ECOA, and other applicable lending requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage disclosure guidelines, banking regulations, and internal compliance standards.
- Assist in assembling and delivering supporting documentation required for early disclosure packages.
- Adhere to company policies, regulatory procedures, and risk management practices while reporting any potential compliance concerns when necessary.
