Requirements
- Expert-level experience in production-grade Ruby on Rails.
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency with GraphQL APIs.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with real-time features via WebSockets (e.g., ActionCable).
- Strong internal motivation and ability to work autonomously.
- English language proficiency at B2 or higher.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- Ideally possess Go experience.
- Ideally experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and Terraform.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop the backend for the Order Arena catering SaaS platform.
- Maintain and extend the HMF Member Portal Rails backend.
- Architect, build, and own backend systems end to end.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, data, and product teams.
- Migrate selected parts of the platform from Ruby on Rails to Go.
- Manage technical debt, performance, and migrations in mature production environments.
