Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, security operations, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI compliance audit cycles.
- Strong application security fundamentals: threat modeling and secure code review.
- Experience with SAST, SCA, DAST, secret scanning, or IaC scanning.
- Working knowledge of AWS (IAM, VPC, security configurations).
- Familiarity with Terraform and CI/CD pipeline security.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools for scripting and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct threat modeling and security design reviews.
- Perform secure code reviews with focus on authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Deploy and maintain security tooling (SAST, SCA, DAST, secret scanning).
- Partner with platform engineering on AWS infrastructure and network security.
- Contribute to incident response and post-incident hardening.
- Drive vulnerability triage and remediation.
- Respond to customer and vendor security questionnaires and RFPs.
- Support compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI 4.0) by gathering evidence and documenting controls.
- Execute recurring user access and IAM reviews.
- Maintain security runbooks and build automation.
