Requirements

- Strong hands-on or architectural experience with Adobe AEM, WordPress (WP Engine), or similar CMS platforms.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO principles and their impact on web performance and organic growth.
- Experience leading full-stack engineering teams in a distributed or remote-first environment.
- Strong proficiency in modern engineering practices including CI/CD, test-driven development, and observability.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and marketing goals into technical roadmaps and execution plans.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across marketing, SEO, product, and analytics teams.
- AI-first mindset with experience or curiosity in applying AI/ML to engineering and marketing use cases.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership qualities with empathy, transparency, and a focus on team culture and psychological safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering strategy and execution for MarTech platforms, ensuring scalable, high-performing, and search-optimized digital experiences across CMS and web ecosystems.
- Lead, mentor, and grow full-stack engineering teams working on Adobe AEM, WordPress (WP Engine), and SEO infrastructure.
- Define and execute the technical strategy for content delivery, web performance, and digital experience platforms.
- Partner with SEO, marketing, and product teams to implement technical SEO best practices including site architecture, structured data, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
- Drive architectural decisions across CMS platforms, including integrations, component design, and deployment pipelines.
- Own and manage the engineering roadmap, balancing feature delivery, platform reliability, and technical debt reduction.
- Champion an AI-first engineering culture, integrating AI into workflows, personalization, and marketing automation use cases.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards for quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Remove technical blockers, support team execution, and ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Represent the engineering function in cross-functional and leadership discussions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning across distributed teams.
