Requirements
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in high-traffic and high-performance environments.
- Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Solid experience building REST APIs and working with document databases such as MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with testing methodologies such as TDD, BDD, or ATDD.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, real-time applications, and scalable backend architectures.
- Experience with AWS services or similar cloud environments.
- Problem-solving mindset, autonomy, and ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend services powering real-time and AI-driven applications.
- Build and optimize APIs and distributed systems with a focus on performance, low latency, and reliability.
- Contribute to the development of AI agents, RAG pipelines, and LLM-based architectures.
- Work with real-time messaging systems supporting massive concurrency and high-throughput traffic.
- Participate in system design and architecture decisions involving sharding, distributed databases, and high-availability patterns.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship new features.
- Ensure code quality through testing practices and engineering standards.
