Requirements
- 3–5+ years of total professional experience.
- Senior-level depth in AWS platform engineering.
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency services.
- Proven ownership of production systems at scale (10k–1M+ concurrent users).
- Hands-on experience with Akka/Java microservice delivery pipelines.
- Experience tuning JVM, GC, and Akka dispatchers.
- Strong grounding in scaling patterns and resilience.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and stand up AWS environments end-to-end.
- Build immutable infrastructure and CI/CD for Java microservices.
- Implement observability including metrics, logs, and SLOs/SLIs.
- Engineer reliability and performance via autoscaling and DR strategies.
- Establish security-by-design using IAM, KMS, and WAF.
- Partner with developers to tune JVM, Akka, and infrastructure limits.
- Champion cost governance and provide reporting.
