Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong emphasis on manual testing.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and manual testing best practices.
- Proven experience designing and executing detailed manual test cases and exploratory testing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
- Strong SQL skills for backend and database validation.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform thorough manual testing across all stages of the SDLC.
- Conduct in-depth exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Execute manual regression test suites to ensure system stability.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries.
- Perform manual API testing using tools like Postman.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and refine acceptance criteria.
- Support release activities and ensure production readiness.
- Contribute to documentation and mentor junior QA team members.
