Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, containerization, and cloud computing
- Experience automating infrastructure utilizing IaC, preferably terraform
- Experience with monitoring tools like Google Monitoring Suite, AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic, or Grafana
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building large-scale platforms (scalability, reliability, observability, cost efficiency)
- Experience building or operating high performance distributed systems
- Strong interest in data science/machine learning concepts
Responsibilities
- Create and support CI/CD tooling for IaC and services in Github
- Create monitoring and alerting systems to track the performance and health of cloud services
- Identify opportunities for optimization in cloud services and implement strategies for efficiency
- Develop automated processes for deploying and managing cloud services utilizing terraform and Helm Charts
- Work closely with security teams to implement security best practices
- Develop and maintain operational standards within a cross-functional guild
- Reduce friction to deliver software within Google Cloud
