Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (backend and distributed systems).
- 1–2+ years of experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based features into production.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI).
- Experience with prompt engineering, tool use, and function calling.
- Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (preference for AWS).
- Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs for verification and safety.
- Understanding of secure/scalable system design in regulated environments (fintech, SOC 2).
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered capabilities such as intelligent assistants and natural language interfaces.
- Integrate LLMs and AI services into production systems with strong prompt engineering and safety controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI features.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to internal documentation and best practices for AI development.
- Participate in code reviews and elevate engineering standards.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging AI tools and frameworks.
- Ensure AI features meet security and privacy requirements for fintech.
