Requirements
- 3+ years of AWS experience
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Strong proficiency with Ansible
- Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB administration of sharded replica sets
- Experience with RabbitMQ and Redis clustering
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Experience with containerization (Docker, CRI-O)
- Familiarity with Linux administration (RHEL, Rocky Linux, CentOS)
- Firm understanding of AWS networking concepts
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance Ansible playbooks and roles
- Manage AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation
- Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters with KEDA-based event-driven autoscaling
- Administer sharded MongoDB clusters and Elasticsearch databases
- Manage RabbitMQ and Redis clusters
- Maintain and improve monitoring stack (Nagios, ELK, CloudWatch, PagerDuty)
- Implement and enforce security controls (SELinux, FIPS compliance, OSSEC, WAF)
- Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash for operational tasks
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Atlassian Bamboo/GitHub Actions
- Participate in on-call rotation
