Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline from an ABET Accredited institution (e.g., BSEE, BSME, BSCE).
- 1+ years project engineering experience in the designing, building, or commissioning in EPC or utility electricity generation field.
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite.
- Ability to perform work and coordinate multiple projects at once.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- EIT License preferred.
- Prior solar industry experience desirable.
- Familiarity with reviewing 30/60/90/IFC design drawings, RFI/submittal processes, and PV plant codes/standards is a plus.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam Revu, PVsyst, and AutoCAD is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review internally-produced designs of solar energy projects against project constraints and contractual commitments.
- Coordinate or run PVsyst models to confirm design production against contractual commitments.
- Support contracting team in assembling contract documents and reviewing 3rd party EPC bids.
- Coordinate and conduct design reviews via Bluebeam Revu Sessions for solar power plants and substations.
- Manage project Engineering-specific data via company software platforms.
- Gather and review applicable codes, standards, and vendor and client requirements.
- Participate in constructability reviews.
- Conduct site visits to support site evaluation, construction, commissioning, and Project Finance.
- Support Project Execution and Operations teams during commissioning and project close out.
