Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience (7+ years preferred).
- Full-stack development (REST APIs, backend, DB modeling, CI/CD, Web UX/UI, HTML/CSS).
- Proficiency in Linux/MacOS command-line and Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in automated and unit testing.
- Experience with Docker and Docker Swarm.
- Deep fluency in Node.js with TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of web performance and security.
- GitHub OSS repo demonstrating skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship production-grade systems end-to-end.
- Own technical decisions on architecture, cloud topology, observability, deployment, and security.
- Write secure, resilient, well-tested code and perform code reviews.
- Debug performance regressions, concurrency bugs, and distributed systems issues.
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept to de-risk technical decisions.
- Mentor teammates and serve as a technical resource.
- Research new technologies and contribute to refining engineering practices.
- Provide effort estimates and present technical options to clients.
