Experience: 10+ years of knowledge of special operations capabilities

Requirements

Retired O-5 / O-6 rank.
U.S. Army Special Forces or U.S. Marine Corps Raider qualification.
Experience in the AFRICOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
10+ years of knowledge of special operations capabilities and interoperability.
5+ years of experience supporting partner nation operating concepts.
Subject matter expertise in combating violent extremist organizations (VEO).
2+ years of experience at OSD, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, or TSOC.
2+ years of functional experience integrating CIMIC into IW.
U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Support a U.S. Government Institutional Capacity Building (ICB) program.
Develop strategies for conflict prevention and stability promotion.
Support partner nation development of operating concepts.
Develop doctrine, Mission Essential Tasks, and training program designs.
Execute Operational Plans (OPLAN) and Concepts of Operations (CONOP).
Integrate Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) into Irregular Warfare (IW) plans.
