Requirements
- Proven professional experience in translating complex texts between English and Polish.
- Demonstrated expertise in chess with a deep understanding of its terminology.
- Exceptional linguistic knowledge, including language theory and structure.
- Native or near-native fluency in both English and Polish.
- Basic graphic editing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively on Slack.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Availability for an average of 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Translate user interfaces for Chesscom and ChessKid web and mobile apps.
- Translate marketing campaigns.
- Translate Coach analysis.
- Translate player profile pages, chess terms, and news articles.
- Translate and edit graphical assets.
- Review previously submitted translations for quality assurance.
