Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Management, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data visualization roles.
- Advanced proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with various database platforms and data management systems.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools for data integration and transformation.
- Deep understanding of healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, or clinical data environments preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with clinicians, operational leaders, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Strong understanding of data governance, reporting standards, and enterprise data quality practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Experience managing BI platform administration, security access, and reporting continuity initiatives.
- Innovative mindset with openness to leveraging emerging technologies and AI-driven solutions to optimize processes and analytics workflows.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for onsite collaboration and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly interactive dashboards, self-service reporting tools, and visual analytics solutions using platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Combine and transform data from multiple sources, including enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and external systems, to create reliable data marts and analytical datasets.
- Partner with operational, clinical, and business leaders to understand reporting needs, recommend data visualization strategies, and deliver impactful analytics solutions.
- Support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives by developing documentation standards, maintaining data integrity, and promoting trusted, accurate reporting practices.
- Manage BI platform upgrades, updates, and maintenance activities to ensure continuity, performance, and reliability across reporting environments.
- Develop and maintain security protocols and user access controls to ensure compliance with data privacy, healthcare regulations, and IT security standards.
- Create and implement validation processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting assets and analytical outputs.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to automate reporting workflows, reduce redundancy, and improve efficiency across analytics operations.
- Mentor and support team members by sharing expertise in data visualization, analytics development, and BI best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by exploring innovative technologies, including AI-driven solutions, to enhance analytics capabilities and user experiences.
