Requirements
- Proven Data Engineering experience, including participation in at least two Databricks projects
- Strong hands-on knowledge of PySpark
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Python
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Spark SQL
- Practical experience or strong knowledge of Databricks components (Asset Bundles, Structured Streaming, Auto Loader, Jobs, Notebooks, REST APIs, Delta Tables)
- Experience working with Azure Data Lake / Blob Storage
- Strong understanding of distributed data processing and performance optimization
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions based on Databricks and cloud data platforms
- Implement and optimize data pipelines using PySpark, Python, and Spark SQL
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Actively participate in consulting activities, advising clients on best practices
- Develop and maintain solutions using Databricks features including notebooks, jobs, and structured streaming
- Ensure high data quality through testing, monitoring, and validation of data pipelines
- Collaborate with distributed teams, contributing to code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Lead and guide other developers, supporting technical decision-making and delivery standards
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to client stakeholders and non-technical audiences
