Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Previous experience in behavioral health or therapy documentation.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Enjoys technology and adopts new systems well.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly review treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation submitted by associate therapists.
  • Verify that documentation is accurate, complete, and complies with relevant regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess the quality of documentation.
  • Provide constructive feedback to associate therapists and collaborate on quality improvement.
  • Work closely with clinical supervisors and management to address documentation issues.
  • Communicate with providers for documentation coaching and revision purposes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all reviews, feedback, and corrective actions.
  • Generate reports on overall quality and compliance levels.
