Requirements
- Must have an active LMHC-D, LCSW, or LMFT-D license.
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Previous experience in behavioral health or therapy documentation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Collaborative and team-oriented.
- Enjoys technology and adopts new systems well.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation submitted by associate therapists.
- Verify that documentation is accurate, complete, and complies with relevant regulatory standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Conduct regular audits to assess the quality of documentation.
- Provide constructive feedback to associate therapists and collaborate on quality improvement.
- Work closely with clinical supervisors and management to address documentation issues.
- Communicate with providers for documentation coaching and revision purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of all reviews, feedback, and corrective actions.
- Generate reports on overall quality and compliance levels.
