Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in community, social media, content, or communications.
- Demonstrable experience managing social media accounts with real engagement.
- Hands-on experience with Discord moderation or building community.
- Experience organizing or running events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Video editing skills considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging community content including contributor spotlights and project showcases.
- Act as a daily presence in the Discord server, welcoming members and answering questions.
- Plan and execute community events such as AMAs or watch parties.
- Manage and grow social media presence in coordination with the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Support the Events Manager in delivering conferences and meetups, including logistics.
- Manage the contributor recognition program and swag distribution.
- Produce video content including event recaps, social reels, and tutorials.
