Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Licensed in California
- Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Experience in outpatient or higher levels of care preferred
- Familiarity with evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, and solution-focused approaches
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adolescents in PHP and IOP levels
- Complete initial in-depth evaluations within 24 hours of admission
- Provide weekly clinical support for PHP patients
- Conduct monthly follow-up for IOP patients
- Collaborate with families and external providers
- Participate in peer-to-peer reviews for medical necessity
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans
