Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with WordPress and Shopify
- Strong proficiency in PHP, Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with Thrive
- Understanding of WordPress architecture (hooks, filters, REST API, CPTs)
- Knowledge of Shopify 2.0 and Liquid templating
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Experience with e-commerce workflows (WooCommerce + Shopify)
- Experience optimizing for SEO, site performance, and web analytics
- Understanding of geo-targeting and AI/LLM search visibility best practices
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain WordPress brand sites for uptime and speed
- Build and update templates using Thrive
- Develop/customize Shopify storefronts with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Manage app integrations (Klaviyo, Gorgias, reviews)
- Implement technical SEO and optimize for geo-targeting
- Optimize for AI search visibility (AEO)
- Set up and maintain tracking tools (GA4, GTM, Meta/TikTok Pixels)
- Integrate and manage CRM and membership tools
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams
- Document systems and configurations
