Requirements
- Significant experience with distributed systems or multi-tenant platform services.
- Deep understanding of systems fundamentals: concurrency, performance, and reliability.
- Experience shipping platform primitives (APIs, control planes, data planes).
- Proven track record in production operations and incident response.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms.
- Knowledge of IAM/security boundaries for cross-account execution.
- Experience building Kubernetes controllers or CRDs.
- Knowledge of Go (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities
- Invent managed compute primitives with clean APIs and extension capabilities.
- Design self-optimizing autoscaling systems for worker fleets.
- Define the boundary between Open Source Server and Cloud architecture.
- Architect and operate services on the hot path of task execution.
- Implement cloud integrations including IAM, secure credentials, and networking.
- Maintain operability through SLOs, tracing, metrics, and incident reviews.
- Lead design documentation, technical reviews, and mentorship.
- Influence cross-functional teams to land platform changes.
