Requirements
- Minimum of two years of FAA eligibility determination experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field appropriate to the assignment.
- Knowledge of public assistance eligibility determination processes.
- Knowledge of Federal and State laws, statutes, and regulations.
- Skills in independent problem solving, analysis, and decision-making.
- Customer service, interviewing, listening, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in critical thinking, research, and data analysis.
- Ability to manage conflict and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
- Successfully pass background and reference check.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality case reviews of eligibility determinations for NA, MA, and TANF.
- Act as a liaison between FAA, AHCCCS, and the Ombudsman's office.
- Partner with AZDOC to complete MA eligibility for released inmates.
- Handle foster children re-entry and SSI-related MA eligibility determinations.
- Provide conflict de-escalation for irate clients.
- Develop and implement local office procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Plan workflow and control daily working arrangements for assignments.
- Consult with personnel regarding program objectives and service delivery.
