Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with JavaScript and Node.js in backend development environments.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed backend systems.
- Proven experience contributing to the development of complex, high-scale platforms or applications.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Good understanding of backend security principles, secure API design, and best development practices.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and technical environments.
- Familiarity with high-availability systems, real-time services, and scalable backend infrastructures.
- Experience with blockchain integrations or decentralized technologies is considered a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of technologies such as Redis, message queues, caches, and background job processing tools is highly desirable.
- Exposure to Ruby and Ruby on Rails is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in remote, collaborative teams.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that support scalable financial and blockchain-related platforms.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate technical and business requirements into efficient backend architectures.
- Improve and optimize existing backend services built with Node.js to enhance scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Develop new microservices and backend solutions that communicate across distributed systems using RPC and other service integration methods.
- Write and optimize complex database queries for operational, compliance, and financial reporting purposes.
- Ensure backend systems follow strong security standards and best practices to protect platform integrity and user data.
- Contribute to high-availability architectures and real-time service responsiveness as the platform continues to scale globally.
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives across backend infrastructure and services.
- Support agile development processes and contribute to the delivery of innovative features and platform enhancements.
