Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in large scale program delivery.
- Prior humanitarian or emergency response experience.
- Strong technical skills and product sense, including data analysis.
- Proven experience in fundraising and relationship management.
- Experience working cross-functionally with finance, grants, and partnerships.
- Ability to manage complex risks and operate in ambiguity.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with state agencies and funders.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Deep alignment with organizational core competencies and values.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end design, planning, and execution of U.S. disaster response programs.
- Identify and operationalize new geographic and damage targeting tools.
- Scope, negotiate, and execute partnership agreements with 3rd-party platforms and governments.
- Manage a team of direct reports and support them in managing field staff.
- Identify and pursue fundraising opportunities and maintain relationships with donors.
- Conduct operational diligence, feasibility, and risk assessments for disaster responses.
- Assess project resource needs and develop budgets and staffing proposals.
- Represent the organization at external forums, media engagements, and conferences.
