Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 8 years’ working experience as a software QA specialist
  • 4 years of test automation experience
  • Proven knowledge of script types in test automation: Python, Java, JavaScript, C#
  • Previous experience with Test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Postman/Newman, Selenium
  • Experience in integration of automate test in CI/CD pipelines and monitoring test results
  • Deep understanding of QA role in Cloud and SaaS type of testing environments
  • Strong grasp of testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, etc.)
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Proven record of leading the quality aspect of a work team, preference in Web and Cloud
  • Proven record of collaborating with Product Managers on requirements to create test strategy
  • Proven ability to develop tests automation frameworks and lead test engineers to test automation
  • Proven ability to develop and execute test cases, create bug reports and analyze test results
  • Familiarity with bug tracking/test management tools: Jira, TestRail or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Champion in Test Automation project, preparation, creation and running automated test tools
  • Be an active part of Cority's focus on test automation, by helping the transition from manual testing into tests automation
  • Identify and document software testcases that can be covered by tests automation
  • Oversee the execution of automation tests during each release
  • Identify risks early on and efficiently communicate them to the team leaders, developers, and QA Manager
  • Track the progress of defects and work closely with developers to ensure they are fixed in a timely manner
  • Ensure quality standards are being met throughout the development cycle
